Australian Brain Cancer Mission

Our first $1 million grant under the Australian Brain Cancer Mission (ABCM) has been allocated to amazing research projects.  The ABCM will contribute a total of $4.5 million to 4 new clinical trials to improve treatments & discover cures for highly fatal Glioblastoma, high-grade Glioma & improve effectiveness of chemotherapy treatments for children. We are proud to partner with the Australian Government & Mark Hughes Foundation in co-funding these incredible projects.

CB4BC have committed $5 million of our fundraising over the next 5 years to the ABCM.
The ABCM is a $107m fund which aims to double survival rates of people living with brain cancer over the next 10 years and provide better quality of life for those suffering from this terrible disease. Survival rates haven’t changed in 30 years, the ABCM brings hope in the fight against this horrible disease.  The Mission’s long term goal is to defeat brain cancer through world-wide collaboration.
